The purpose of this database is to provide a
place to record the occurrence of pests in Canterbury and to have
that information readily accessible to ECan, DoC and CCC staff.
It also enables:

delegation of control work for shared projects
(e.g. purple loosestrife)

updating of the status of known infestations
(e.g. “control work was done in May, follow up required in
November”)

searching for occurrences of a species or for
work delegated to an organisation
